MANAGEMENT OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC:
• SKIN CANCER REMOVAL
• DUPUYTREN’S CONTRACTURE
• CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME
The Covid-19 virus pandemic is going to impact significantly on elective surgery procedures.
The above conditions can be treated in our rooms under a `see and treat’ model of care for patients who require treatment that can be undertaken under local anaesthetic.
In order to protect patients, particularly our elderly patients, we are implementing the following measures:
• Screening when you make your appointment to ensure that you do not pose a risk to others
• Appointments spaced to minimise the number of patients present at any one time
• Alcohol based hand sanitiser in the rooms for everyone to use frequently
• Ensure that you’re only accompanied by someone who can drive you home (please don’t bring anyone else with you, especially children)
CONSULTATION FEE: $150 (of which $75.05 is reclaimable from Medicare if you have a referral from a doctor/$61 if you don’t have a referral).
COST OF PROCEDURE: $500 (not claimable) including all materials, sutures, dressings, follow-up care and 24/7 on call emergency advice from out nursing team.
